RUMOR MILL: YATES OFFERED 2009 CAPTAINCY
Sources close to the captaincy decision making body have indicated that Alex Yates, 2007 Pineapple Cup Champion, has been offered a captain position for the 2009 Pineapple Cup. Mr. Yates would neither confirm or deny the rumor, stating only that he “would be honored to be a captain in 2009.”
Speculating, it seems likely that Buck Williams would be offered the other captain position if Alex Yates accepts. Such a situation would pit two long-time rivals and Wake Forest teammates.

Seems like a hoax to me. Yates is too young to lead a successful Pineapple Cup team.
